To be quite simple and plain with you, which I hope you’ll forgive, thank you. Thanks especially to you. I’m not sure you’re aware how much your opinion and blessing matter to me. I love you.Fanmail’d because long. I just saw your post about coming out as a demon and I’m really happy for you! And it makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. I have to admit that my initial response was a roll of the eyes, but then I remembered that it’s you and you don’t do shit lightly, unlike a lot of otherkin (for lack of a better term) who mostly do it for attention or whatever other reason. So just yay for you, and also for Madi! She’s always reminded me of faefolk. All of my love and support to the both of you.
This is my brand new MGT-01 (Arcee) Special collector’s edition Transformer. Excellent molding, no paint flaws, light piping, and even pink lips and heels! This is an excellent model. She fetches a pretty penny and I had to wait quite a while for her to ship from France, but it was well worth every cent and day waiting. Definitely now the most treasured acquisition of my collection. Overall the model has superb pose-ability, but the backpack can sometimes be a bit cumbersome and cause her to topple. She also comes with two guns (shown in first photo), and a display podium and linking pole (shown in last photo). Here, you can see the package with the goods exposed, a profile shot of her vehicle, a rather victorious looking robot mode pose and a pose with the display features that I have coined as “the diva pose”. She is about the same size as a typical “Deluxe class” Transformer. This package also came with transformation instructions, metallic decal stickers and a cool MGT-01 collector’s card. My only qualm about this entire model is the depressing lack of an Autobots logo. /creys ;_;
The esteemed “Re-entry Mode” for Sea Attack Ravage. Once again, I felt that this figure was purely for $$$, but it still has its cool details and is worthy of buying if you have no other high-priority prospects for your collection. A fun in-betweener. I warn you, he only kept me entertained for a good couple of days before he exhausted his fun-ness. Truly quality Transformers never lose their fun-ness in my opinion.
Sorry for the gap in updates guys. (Like anyone checks this thing)
This here is Sea Attack Ravage. He is a Deluxe Class Decepticon model. This figure is a concept figure from the movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This is supposedly from when Ravage is fired at planet Earth from Soundwave who is orbiting Earth. The vehicle mode which I will post next, is his supposed “Re-entry Mode”, being the mode he is in when he crashes into the ocean and glides out to shore.
Overall, I feel that this model was made purely for a few more bucks per Transformers collector/enthusiast/child “ooh-ing” and “awwwe-ing” to their parents. There is not a whole lot going on, articulation-wise. Just about every joint on this model pivots 180 degrees and rotates the same amount if not 360 degrees. He does however, have a cool joint on his tail, which allows one of the spikes to pivot back and forth. Also, this figure has a “Mech Alive” function; there is a switch located on his lower back which when pushed back and forth, cause his jaw to close and open and his ears to prick up and down simultaenously.
Overall a good/cool figure, but not a necessity for collector’s sake. Also does not have as cool paint apps as the model that came previous, Deluxe Ravage (not Sea Attack Ravage) which featured a tail that could be articulated 360 degrees at every joint instead of just the end with the spikes.
Oil Pan’s robot mode. What a badass looking dude. If this mode doesn’t scream classic Decepticon to you, you should redefine your terms. His head rotates 360 degrees, his shoulders rotate 360 degrees, his arms rotate 360 degrees, pivot at the elbow twice (he’s double jointed) and his hands also rotate 360 degrees. His legs rotate 360 degrees and bend at the knee and his feet can be moved up and down for more poseability. Overall great articulation, excellent details and a nice, compact vehicle mode make this toy an excellent addition to your collection.
This is an awesome little transformer. Scout class Decepticon Oil Pan. This cool sporty car rolls on four plastic wheels that have excellent hubcap detail on them. The overall attention to detail on the sporty aspects of the car make its vehicle mode a treat to look at. Also, the Decepticon logo is where the license plate would be on a car.
This is Scalpel’s robot mode. First off, how freakin’ cool is that? It stands on six spider-like legs, very accurate to the movie. The one thing I will say about this toy is that it’s legs are like an Achilles’ heel that you are going to want to do your best to ignore. They pop out of place and fall out with ease and I have lost them many times. It’s a miracle that I still have this toy in its complete form. In robot mode you can articulate the head up and down, as well as his mouth parts, antennae and mantis-like arms. You can also move the legs about, but I would not recommend it.
Okay here is Scout Class Decepticon Scalpel. This is “The Doctor” from the live action movie. In my opinion, this is an overall excellent toy, and its alt mode is a cool little microscope. In this mode, you can rotate the stand 360 degrees.
This is Depthcharge’s robot mode, which is infinitely cooler than its vehicle mode. His head barely moves, but can wiggle slightly from side to side. His arms pivot at the shoulder sockets, rotate 360 degrees and bend at the shoulders, pivot back and forth at the elbows, and even has thumbs that pivot. His waist rotates 360 degrees and his legs bend back and forth at the waist sockets, knees and ankles. This mode is immensely fun for posing and has excellent articulation for a Scout Class toy. I would say that if you are of Autobot loyalty, and a fan of the live-action movie series toys, this little Scout is a must for you.
This is Scout Class Autobot Deptcharge. This is probably my least favorite in my collection, but he’s still pretty cool. In vehicle mode, his legs can still be seen on the underneath of the ship, which is a minus in my opinion. One of the first things I rate a Transformer by is it’s believability in vehicle mode, how well the “robot kibble” is hidden. He does, however, feature a pretty awesome color scheme and proudly sports the Heroic Autobot logo on the side of the ship.
